Product Description

This light and easily absorbed natural moisturiser has been formulated especially for people with dry, sensitive and troublesome skin. This is a product that really works for you. Containing some of the best natural active ingredients available on the market today, and also having a pH that matches that of the skin, means it will work in synergy with your skin. Packed full of antioxidant, healing, moisturizing, repairing and protecting ingredients, it is ideally formulated for use as a daily moisturiser. Cucumber Extract, Aloe Vera, Rosehip Oil, Argan Oil and Oat Extract are the principle ingredients responsible for cooling, healing and hydrating the skin, leaving skin smooth, soft, shiny and revitalized. Each of these ingredients have their own distinctive active and protective functions.

Cucumber Extract is an excellent antioxidant, being rich in Vitamin C. It helps combat against the detrimental effects of dirt, dust, sun and pollution (typically lines, age spots and dryness) by repairing cells and eliminating damaging free radicals.

Aloe Vera's active ingredients speed up the process of healing and general tissue repair, which is why it is often used to help skin symptoms associated with acne, dermatitis and eczema, as well as for reducing redness and itching.

Rosehip Oil is also good at treating damaged tissue, particularly that relating to photo-aging damage, skin blemishes and scarring. It is also a fabulous moisturiser, directing moisture to dry areas without over saturating normal areas.

Argan Oil is able to regulate sebum production and prevents skin from producing too much oil and becoming overly oily. It has been used traditionally to help acne, eczema and psoriasis.

Lastly, Oat Extract is rich in Silicic acid that makes it effective at treating skin conditions such as burns and eczema. It also has good anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties.

Added to the main moisturizing base ingredients, amongst others, are Bisabolol, Fennel, Mellisa, Hops, Chamomile and Yarrow. Together, these form an effective anti-irritating and anti-inflammatory blend whose soothing action helps reduce hypersensitivity, further encourages skin re-hydration and can aid skin complaints such as eczema. Further de-sensitizing activity is provided by an innovative ingredient that reduces nerve response to external stimuli, thus providing an overall pain killing effect.

Squalane, naturally derived from olive oil, is added to the formulae due to its ability to nourish, hydrate and help skin regeneration. It is easily and very quickly absorbed into the skin, is a powerful antioxidant and shows good anti-bacterial action that again helps the regeneration process. Its benefits are numerous but because of its anti-oxidant properties it helps reduce the effects of UV damage and the formation of age spots and is recognized as having anti-aging properties. It also brings relief to dehydrated and hypersensitive skin and is helpful in counteracting some of the symptoms of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Lastly, Lavender Bulgarian oil and Chamomile Roman Oil are added to provide a subtle natural fragrance and to provide further soothing and calming action.
